The Works
comprise the following:-
(a) Construction of a six-storey high Film Archive building consisting
of four film libraries, a cinema, an exhibition hall, foyer, workshops
and their supporting facilities.
The size of the building is approximately 35m x 36m on plan with
an overall building height of 33m from ground floor level to top of
the reinforced concrete roof slab.
The Film archive building is constructed generally of reinforced
concrete frame and slab structure and part of the roof is of structural
steel frame.
(b) Construction of a six-storey Leisure Centre incorporating leisure
pools, fitness rooms, dance rooms, children play areas, indoor lawn
bowling areas, sports areas, recreation halls and changing rooms and
other supporting facilities.
The size of the building is approximately 35m x 66m on plan with
an overall building height of 38m from ground floor level to top of
the structural steel roof.
The Leisure Centre is constructed generally of reinforced concrete
frame and slab structure and covered with a structural steel framed
metal roof.
(c) Completion of a partially constructed one-level sub-basement
carpark of approximately 4,000m2 in area and 4.25m in height, including
reinforced concrete substructural elements.
(d) Provision of all associated building services including electrical
services, air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation, fire services,
communal aerial broadcast distribution, security, swimming pool filtration
plant and cinema projection system.
(e) Provision of external works to
i) Open space at ground floor level; and
ii) Roof garden at the Film Archive building. |

－ 修建一座樓高六層之康樂中心，內設游泳池，健身房，練舞房，兒童玩樂區，室內地滾球，運動區，娛樂室和更衣室以及其它附屬設施。
該建築的平面尺寸約為35m x 66m，總高度為38米。
康樂中心建築為鋼筋混凝土框架結構，屋頂為鋼架金屬屋面結構。
－ 完成一座地下停車場，面積約4,000平方米，層高4.25米，包括鋼筋混凝土基層構件。
－ 提供所有設備安裝，包括電力，空調，機械通風，消防，廣播電視天線，保安，泳池過濾設備及電影放映設備。
－ 室外工程如
i) 地面露天場地；以及
ii) 電影資料館屋頂花園 |
