This contract is for construction
of an office building including workshop, maintenance depot and
storage area for the Water Service Department at Kowloon East Region.
It consists of:
－The
construction of a 12-storey building housing depots, offices, workshops
& carparks. Its overall size is 51.2m x 43.2m on plan and 58.87m
high from ground floor level.
－Improvement
and re-construction of ground-level roads.
－Associated
drainage and external works
The structure is generally a reinforced
concrete framing finished with curtain wall, decorative aluminium
louvres and ceramic facing tiles on the facade. Apart from the structure,
we had to complete fitting-out works, air-conditioning and mechanical
ventilation, electrical, fire service, generator and gondola installations,
plumbing, drainage and external works.
The GFA of the building is approximately
18,967m2.
